I Can’t and I Know!

“I can’t!”
“I know… I know……”
These are phrases I hear from people almost once a week.
Do you ever catch your self saying the following phrases?:
“I can’t lose weight!”
“I can’t stick to exercise!”
“I can’t eat right!”
When you say “I can’t ” you probably use this as an excuse for not doing something, or for not taking action. We all have done it. You probably CAN, you just choose not too, or you just haven’t found the solution to your problem yet. Saying the words “I CAN’T” means you have already abandoned the belief you ever can! There is always a way! You just have to find it and then do it!
So be careful using the words “I can’t” unless you REALLY can not do something.
I KNOW…..I KNOW…..
Most of the time when I instruct someone how to eat right and exercise for the best results, they come back and say I know I should eat this way, and I know how to eat healthy, I know I should exercise everyday. Yet they fail to do it. So maybe they don’t know?
The Phrase “I know, I know” is a mental shortcut it allows you to shut off your brain, and avoid action.
Many of you have heard the information I provide each week before, its not always ground breaking information every week. But if you just think to yourself “I know this information, and I don’t have to read it carefully or apply it.” The truth really is you do not know something until you have done it successfully, and then done it again! Honestly, some don’t really know something until they have done it, repeated it, and the taught it to someone else. Everyone has room for improvement, maybe you really don’t know, at least not yet. Because if you knew, YOU’D DO.
Knowing is really doing, and doing it successfully day after day.
So maybe you think you CAN’T, and not sure if you now KNOW.
But with the right attitude, belief, and direction, you CAN and WILL.
Seriously what’s stopping you?

I think small steps are key here…it’s hard to get where you want to be if you think you’ll reach your goals tomorrow…instead, set a goal, set a path, and then monitor it on a weekly basis to make sure you’re headed in the right direction. After that, it’s all about taking it day by day and then just doing it before you know if you Can or Can’t; thanks.
